  • WHAT IS CELEBRATE SAINT LOUIS?

    Get ready for the launch of Celebrate Saint Louis a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that strives to engage, serve and celebrate our region by providing diverse, impactful and entertaining experiences to support worthy charities that serve our communities.

    By producing year-round events that showcase Saint Louis culture and support a diverse group of nonprofit organizations, Celebrate Saint Louis illustrates our region’s stand-out charitable reputation alongside our history of celebration and connection dating back to St. Louis’s founding in 1764.

    WHAT ARE THE CELEBRATE SAINT LOUIS EVENTS

    America’s Birthday Parade Since 1878, America's Birthday Parade has celebrated the nation with floats and performances at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO. Check back soon for the parade route!

    This is a wonderful event that brings people from across the country together to celebrate America's most festive birthday party. This year, it will include an airshow, concerts, fireworks and more. This year, we're especially excited to mark the 150th anniversary of the Eads Bridge, which has been a landmark since its dedication on July 4, 1874. This July 4th, offers a day of engaging activities, including live performances, family-friendly attractions, tasty food options, an exciting airshow, and concludes with a beautiful fireworks display ensuring a delightful summer experience for everyone.     Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, A world-class fireworks show over the Mississippi River and framed by the Gateway Arch, happening Thursday, July 4th at approximately 9:40 p.m. You won’t want to miss it!

    Yes, Celebrate Saint Louis is a free event, thanks to the generous support of our many sponsors and partners, and the tireless efforts of our hundreds of volunteers, allowing the public to safely enjoy America’s Biggest Birthday Party.

  • IS AMERICA'S BIGGEST BIRTHDAY PARADE HAPPENING THIS YEAR?

    Yes! America’s Biggest Birthday Parade will march through the streets of downtown St. Louis on Thursday, July 4th starting at 10 a.m. The parade team has been hard at work to ensure America’s Birthday Parade is safe for participants and parade goers.     WHEN AND WHERE IS AMERICA'S BIRTHDAY PARADE?

    The 142nd America’s Birthday Parade will be held in Downtown St. Louis and will kick off on Thursday, July 4th at 10:00 a.m. For more information on the parade route please follow this link

  • WHAT PROTOCOLS ARE BEING ENACTED TO ENSURE PATRONS HAVE A SAFE EXPERIENCE?

    Hosting a safe event for our patrons is the first priority of Celebrate Saint Louis. Our team is working closely with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, St. Louis Fire Department, the National Park Service, and private security teams to ensure we have the appropriate levels of security for our visitors throughout the duration of the event..

    WILL THE EVENT HAVE A SECURE PERIMETER AND SECURITY CHECKPOINTS AT EACH ENTRANCE?

    Yes. Hosting a safe event is our first priority. The footprint will cover a designated area centered Leonore K Sullivan, and several safety checkpoints will be stationed at each entrance. We are working with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, National Park Service officials and other partners on securing each entrance.

    WHAT ABOUT SECURITY IN THE PARK AT NIGHT?

    Wherever the location or time of day, hosting a safe Celebration is always our first priority. Our team is working closely with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the National Park Service, and private security teams to ensure safety remains its first priority – both during the event and after the evening fun.

    WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR BAD WEATHER?

    The Celebrate team is actively working with public emergency personnel to ensure our inclement weather plan remains valid for this year. In the event of bad weather, updates will be published to our website, social media channels, as well as through our media partners and on the jumbotron screens.

  • CAN I BRING MY OWN COOLER WITH FOOD AND DRINKS?

    Coolers and external food and beverages (excluding baby food and medically necessary items) are prohibited on Lenora K. Sullivan Blvd. Those in the community attending the America's Birthday parade or fireworks display from the Arch grounds should consult the City of St. Louis and National Park Services for approved items.

    Which stop do I use on Metrolink?

    For America’s Birthday Parade, take MetroLink to the 8th & Pine Station on July 4th.

    For Celebrate Saint Louis food, activities, and entertainment at Leonoren K. Sullivan take MetroLink to 8th and Pine or Lacledes Landing.

    After the fireworks finale concludes on July 4, head to the Laclede’s Landing Station, 8th & Pine Station, Stadium Station or Convention Center Station for your convenient ride home on MetroLink.
